Good questions.
Straight answers.
How it works, what it costs and what to check before bringing Dinevia into your restaurant.
Getting started
Who is Dinevia for?
Dinevia is restaurant software for teams handling table service, QR ordering, kitchen tickets, takeaway and manually coordinated delivery. Each restaurant has a separate deployment. Book a demo to check your actual workflow.
Can we try it before buying?
Yes. Ask for a guided demo and bring a sample menu or service scenario. Check the parts you need before agreeing the quote.
How long does setup take?
The timeline depends on your menu, table layout, staff accounts and any custom work. We confirm it after the demo. Run a complete test service before going live.
Does the website include a public live demo?
The screenshots show the current platform using sample restaurant data. For an interactive walkthrough, book a demo. No private staff login or customer deployment is linked from this website.
During service
Do guests need an app or an account?
Guests open a table QR in their browser. A new group gives a contact name and reviews its order. A phone number is optional by default and can be required in restaurant settings.
Can different floors use the same table number?
Yes. Table names are unique within an area, so Main floor and Terrace can each have a Table 1. Orders retain their area and table context.
Can guests at the same table have separate bills?
Yes. Independent groups can share a physical table while keeping orders and balances separate. Within a group, whole item quantities can be selected for separate bills. Orders with earlier per-order collections must be included whole in one bill.
Does Dinevia process UPI or card payments?
No. Guests can state how they prefer to pay. Staff then check the actual transaction and record the amount received by cash, UPI or card. This is a collection record, not bank verification.
Does it work without the internet?
The current application requires an internet connection. Offline order writing and offline billing are not included.
Can we use our existing printer?
Kitchen tickets and receipts use browser printing. Test your printer, paper size and multipage output before rollout. Direct hardware integrations are not assumed.
Are inventory, payroll and aggregator integrations included?
Those modules are not included in the current feature walkthrough. If one is essential, discuss it before purchase rather than relying on a future feature.
Pricing & ownership
Is this really a one-time software fee?
The advertised software price is ₹19,999 once for one restaurant. It is not a promise of free lifetime hosting, maintenance or unlimited support. Your written quote defines the services and terms.
What about taxes, hosting and support?
Applicable taxes, account ownership, domain costs, hosting limits, setup, backups and support are agreed in your quote. A free hosting tier has limits and may not fit every usage pattern.
Will our restaurant have its own setup?
Yes. The application is designed for one restaurant per deployment with separate data resources. Confirm account ownership and the handover process in your agreement.
Can managers access everything?
The admin controls individual staff accounts and action permissions. Billing, reports, menu changes and guest contact access are separate grants enforced by the server.
Is it maintenance-free?
No software can honestly promise that. Agree who handles patches, backups, restore checks, account recovery and incidents before launch.
Enquiries & privacy
What happens when I submit the demo form?
The form prepares an email draft in your email app. Review it and choose whether to send it. This static site does not submit your enquiry to a database. If no email app is configured, write to dinevia@outlook.com from your usual email service.
Does this website use tracking cookies?
There is no analytics or advertising tracker in this site. It stores an optional light/dark appearance preference and a temporary session flag so the opening animation does not repeat on every visit. Your hosting provider may keep access logs; Email providers handle messages under their own terms.
What should I bring to a demo?
Your approximate table count, menu, kitchen setup and a normal order-to-payment flow. Leave passwords, card details and customer records out of your enquiry.
